Theatre Arcimboldi, called Tam also,
takes its name from the nearby villa.
Opened in January 2002, was built to accommodate
the Teatro alla Scala, while the latter
was under renovation.
Powered by the city of Milan, in collaboration with Pirelli Re,
the building has a capacity of 2400 seats,
distributed to an audience on two levels and two galleries.
The theater consists of a unique fan-shaped room,
was designed by Vittorio Gregotti, which merged
the most advanced technologies and sound staging
with formal clarity of the entire plant structural and architectural.
Located in Bicocca, is divided, as in all opera houses
classic type, in three areas: foyer, hall and stage.
The building, which housed up to 3 years in a row
shows the scale and currently Zelig,
is in good aesthetic and functional.
