Central Station in Milan, one of the greatest centers
railway in Europe, was officially inaugurated in 1931, after
have replaced the old station in 1864.
The construction work of Ulysses Stace, who took as a model
reference of his project, the Union Station in Washington,
has a facade 200 meters wide and 72 high once,
an outstanding result for the 'era.
But the station is not only an interchange
nationally and internationally, but also a key point of the local movement.
Regarding the architecture, the building does not have a single style,
but a mixture of different trends, particularly Art Deco and Art Nouveau,
although often attributed to artistic expression Assiro-Milanese.
