Appunti:
Dalla rep al IV sec. D.C.
Elaborati suggeriti:
- piante storiche
- zoning boards of several successive time
TASKS FOR THE NEXT WEEK
Using the same base map, designed to prepare three document the important moments of building development and operations of public initiative of the study area, enlarged in this case up to Ponte Milvio. We enjoy the advantage of having before us a schedule, and that means 'growth for successive completions without there ever been major demolition and reconstruction (the only exception' perhaps the old stadium Turin, replaced for the Olympics by 60 Flaminio Stadium).
The works will be chosen for some great cartographic work and / or completion phases of building which have taken place over time.
For example:
the construction of the banks of the Tiber and lungoteveri Ship and Flaminio
completing construction Piazzale Flaminio-Fine Arts;
completion Fine Arts Building-Ponte Milvio;
achievements for the Olympic Games (stadiums, Olympic Village);
auditorium, Maxx, accommodation banks of the Tiber.
The tender documentation suggests three de facto states:
1870 1960 2010
TRACK CHRONOLOGY
Can 'help to frame the whole track chronological
September 30, 1870: just ten days after the breach of Porta Pia, comes into operation, "a Commission consisting of architects and engineers in charge of studying" ampliation and embellishments of the city '. " Serve homes and ministries.
1872-1878: completes the first of the new ministries, the Finance Via XX Settembre, that the idea of Quintino Sella should have been the 'axis direction "of new capital. But many others will eventually be placed elsewhere.
December 26, 1870: Rome and 'a victim of the flooding of the Tiber more' severe its entire history.
1870-1883: Starting the phase transformation of the capital. During this time, Rome is no plan.
1876-1900: construction of "walls of the dike" of the Tiber.
1881: Census: Rome has a population of 263,462 inhabitants.
1883: Plan is approved by the engineer Alessandro Viviani, Director of the Municipal Art.
1883-1888: the years of "building fever".
Notare come l’asse della via Flaminia separi ad ovest una zona di nuovi insediamenti intensive ("buildings"), and a green area to the east is intended to "cottages" and "gardens".
More 'in general, and' to appreciate selectivity 'of the plan Sanjust Nathan-intensive expansion in its choices, colored in red. To the northwest, the complex-Flaminio Piazza Mazzini on either side of the Tiber River to the north east, and Piazza Bologna Piazza Verbano to the east, the "neighborhood" in San Lorenzo, south-east, the Via Appia Tuscolano. The overall densificazone and 'heavy, but it' s covered by three giant green breaks: Villa Borghese, Villa Ada in the north, Villa Pamphili in the west, the archaeological walk to the south.
Below, the detail of the project to the south Flaminio.
1911: fiftieth unit 'of Italy. In addition to the destruction of the altar of the Fatherland is realized the great project of the International Exhibition. A new bridge, the Ponte Risorgimento, connects the square of Arms in Meadows, with its exhibition halls and then dismantled, the "Valle Giulia", attached to the Villa Borghese to house the Gallery of Fine Arts (later the National Gallery of Art modern) and art academies abroad.
1912-1918: Construction of the Ministry of the Navy between the Via Flaminia and the Tiber.
1931: Rome has almost one million inhabitants. It approved the new plan, drafted by the architect of the scheme: Marcello Piacentini.
Note (picture below) as the area of public park of Villa Borghese to be extended almost as far as Via Flaminia, creating a large island of green bordered to the north of the complex of Valle Giulia.
1960: Olympic are made of the way, both the Flaminio stadium and Olympic village.
2008: to 43 years after its predecessor, it approved a new master plan, and that 'the force. Here's the sheet for our area examination [1] . The areas delimited by a continuous line in black are those where the municipal offices have yet to make any changes agreed on the outline of the plan adopted. Check, but the green strip along the continuous loop of the Tiber and 'truly public park?
