NOTES ATELIER (18 and 20 January)

NOTES ATELIER (18 and 20 January) Tuesday
'18 and Thursday,' Jan. 20 were held two workshops to take stock of progress made by each of the six working groups. Here are some points that emerged from these meetings.

HISTORY: History
/ base map or common assumptions videopalinsesto (planning stages in rapid overlapping)
Analyze the history of each block. When? Who? Why '?
ANALYSIS:
Abseiling in the context (flush out any resident (they are all rich?))
Questionnaires
unexplored areas: the north-east, north-west banks of the Tiber
Maybe useful SWOT analysis: Strengths
? Weaknesses? Opportunities? Threats?
test the hypothesis of the presence of university as the best opportunity 'perf become a neighborhood area (see map d. public space)
Barriers: the barriers and the tram, the Tiber, the absence of a change to north-east from the campus
bike (video recording from a bicycle)
CHARTER OF PUBLIC SPACE
Issues
A semantic structure for the paper - What ' public space? 'Cause it important? What are the characteristics of a useful and usable public space?
What are the rights and duties of directors, citizens, and other urban actors?
THE TEST PROJECT
Focus problems, and highlight key nodes in a row to make it quite
problems / goals / project ideas
A district that we have not called because the district 'is not a neighborhood
- functional imbalances in land use (too many offices, too many few houses)
- -socio-economic imbalances (in the process of gentrification, eta 'advanced residents, upper-middle class)
- ; total absence of relations between "student population" and other local residents and visitors
STAND FITTERS
Grayscale and just?
Video for the exhibition. Collage of footage? The life and non-life (day / night?) Representative sites (north square of aroma, Piazzale Flaminio, Via Flaminia, port de Pinedo, narrow streets of the Northeast, neighborhood market, faculties '... ..)
Tuesday' morning visit to Roma Tre

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS In the end, will emerge as 'the' public space "as the analysis and design as a hypothesis?
How will 'out of the concept of' city 'as a public space?
The district as a public space of the community 'university?
The district as a permanent laboratory in the community 'university can' give an injection of ideas? The work of the group
designers can 'be a field applying the principles of the Charter of Public Space "?
